Camino

 ·        This year Blocktober walkers, Lala Steyn and Dawie Bosch, are walking the Camino Primitivo, a 320km pilgrimage route in Spain. The Camino Primitivo is the original Camino de Santiago route, walked for the first time in the 9^th century. It starts in Oviedo and ends in Santiago de Compostela, at the tomb of Saint James. We chose this Camino because of its history, and natural beauty, with scenic and challenging pilgrim paths. Walking it as part of Blocktober is our way of creating space for conversation, reflection and solidarity around GBV. For more see: Camino Blog.
